[HOW TO] Replace the Catalytic Converter on a 2.7L TurboMax L3B (2022 Silverado LTD)

In this video I replace the catalytic converter on my 2022 Silverado LTD with the 2.7L L3B motor. I had been experiencing a P0420 CEL for the last month or so. P0420 mean Catalytic efficiency Low. I tried a few remedies that did not work, including two runs of cataclean, E85 fuel, and simply even resetting the light. Each time the CEL returned. The truck didn't seem to run any different, just that annoying CEL. So I dug into my AllData technical manual and found the procedure and parts to replace the catalytic converter myself. I sourced a quote from a shop that was over 2x the price of DIY. This replacement procedure is not that bad, and I did it alone in my driveway on a makeshift service ramp. The process should be similar on all vehicles equipped with the L3B, including Silverado, Sierra, Colorado and Canyon. The L2R base model Colorado/Canyon 2.7L is likely very similar as well.
