It has the East Falls Church Metro Station to the west, can be found on either side of I-66 and folks generally call the area Westover. The Westover village area and shopping center give the area its name. It is home to some well-known establishments here in the DMV such as The Italian Store known for their sandwiches and the Westover Market for its beer selection. Highland Park is where many of the original houses in the area were built. The area was developed starting in the 1890’s by Fostoria Land and Development Company to take advantage of the electric railways. Other neighborhoods that can be found in the zip code are Tara-Leeway Heights, Dominion Hills, Madison Manor, Waycroft-Woodlawn, and East Falls Church. Now for some real estate. Two Hundred Thirty-Seven (237) homes traded in the zip code this past year for an average sales price of $1,122,000 and with an average of fourteen (14) days on the market. The most expensive home to sell this past year in the zip code was this circa 2009 custom craftsman.
