Not just some, but everyone. It is about enabling maximum use of products, goods and services by the widest possible audience (Be they staff member or customer)? To ensure everyone can, you need to be able to answer four fundamental questions. What does ‘good’ look like? How do you express good as a business requirement What systems and processes do you have in place to deliver good? How do you know those systems and processes are working? BIO: Greg Alchin is the Principal Accessibility Specialist at Service NSW, where he drives agency culture and capacity to deliver digital products and services that are inclusive by design and accessible by default. Greg’s actively contributes on whole of NSW government digital accessibility and inclusion initiatives such as the Digital Inclusion Strategy, Workplace Adjustment Passport and the Behavioural Insights Unit’s Sludge Academy. Outside of government, Greg is an internationally recognised keynote speaker, disability advocate and accessibility specialist with over 30 years’ experience across education, community, commercial and government contexts. Greg expertise has been sort by the Australian Human Rights Commission, Australian Disability Network, Apple, Australian Ballet, The Field, NAB, the U.N’s Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and World Food Program. Underpinning Greg’s professional experience is his lived experience with a visual disability, industry recognition as an accessibility specialist, post graduate studies in accessibility as well as membership of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals.
