So there's no need to lie, those who know me, know that I honestly believe GOOD cops exist as a minority within a group of BAD cops. The majority of Police Officers typically either have deep rooted emotionally charged childhood issues or weren't successful students therefore not progressing into a high paying career. Which is pretty much a mixed bag recipe for what one would consider an "undesirable person." But enough of that, once in a while, you DO find a good cop. This cop, after being confronted, acknowledged that he broke the law and was wrong. His excuse for breaking the law, was that he was busy, breaking another law. (See earlier statement about being a good student.) 60 mph in a 25 mph school zone isn't a "minor" violation. In fact in GA, it's a "super speeder misdemeanor." Notice the time stamp on the video... our locals know that the school zone hours were in force... even if they weren't, he was then potentially doing 60mph in a 35mph zone... Chevy Tahoes are neither nimble nor for the weak of heart... don't drive a large SUV dangerously, I don't care who you are. If it were me, this cop would've had a field day... no matter how much I apologized. But he DID apologize and acknowledge that he was wrong... Police officers clearly can't be written tickets by Civilians, but they CAN be reminded when they endanger us, their entire career goals become counter-productive. "If you see something, say something."
