This Arc’teryx film is a sweeping adventure documentary that explores over 1,200 kilometers of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains—one of the wildest, diverse, and awe-inspiring landscapes on Earth. Through the lens of those who have chosen a life immersed in BC wilderness, the film reveals a deep connection to mountain adventure and remote living, shaped by alpine climbing, backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and ski mountaineering. From rugged peaks to dense forests and ocean shorelines, the geography of the Pacific Northwest exerts a powerful pull that defines the outdoor lifestyle of those who call it home. Filmed across indigenous lands—including the Xeni Gwet’in traditional territory and the homelands of the Tŝilhqot'in Nation, as well as the unceded territories of the Kwakwa̱ka̱’wakw, Lil̓wat7úl, and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nations—this Arc’teryx film respectfully acknowledges the cultural heritage and stewardship of these communities. With guidance from Chief Jimmy Lulua of the Xeni Gwet’in First Nations Government, the film blends nature filmmaking with stories of human resilience and reverence for place.
