Recently I bought the second Class 455 EP from Armstrong Powerhouse (I didn't get Vol. 1 because I don't care for NSE and Connex liveries that much), and today I thought I'd record some gameplay with the 455s in the ex-South West Trains livery. Join me as I drive a pair of 455s on a stopping service from London Waterloo to Hampton Court, using the extended Portsmouth Direct Line route that DTG made a few years ago. As per the information on RealTime Trains, this service is formed of a 455/7 coupled to a 455/9. The 455/7s are unusual because they use surplus TSO (trailer standard open) coaches from Class 508 units, while the 455/9s have new-build TSOs. Although to acheive this in Train Simulator, AP re-used the Class 315 TSO model (since the 315s have the same bodyshell as the 508) but left a TfL Rail map inside the coach......
