Introducing Kauhale Management Services, HomeAid Hawaiʻi’s property management model designed for deeply affordable housing that supports long term stability and economic mobility. Led by Ciara Manoa Kaui, Senior Director of Kauhale Management Services, and supported by Barbara Ramos, Operations Manager, and Jacqueline Sumler, Intake Specialist, this model applies traditional property management experience in a nontraditional way. We use property management systems built for long term, sustainable operations. Our program agreements and fee structures are intentionally flexible, allowing us to address challenges early and take corrective action to keep residents stably housed. Together, the team oversees daily operations and builds partnerships that connect residents to employment, life skills, and supportive services, helping people move from crisis to contribution.
