Śāriputra, form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form; form itself is emptiness, emptiness itself is form. So too are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Śāriputra, all phenomena are marked by emptiness: they are neither born nor destroyed, neither stained nor pure, neither increasing nor decreasing. Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, no feeling, perception, formation, or consciousness; no eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharmas; no realm of sight, and so on until no realm of mind-consciousness; no ignorance and no ending of ignorance, up to no aging and death and no ending of aging and death; no suffering, no cause of suffering, no cessation, no path; no wisdom and no attainment. Because there is nothing to attain, the Bodhisattva, relying on Prajñāpāramitā, has no obstruction in the mind. Because there is no obstruction, there is no fear. Far beyond all inverted views, one realizes ultimate Nirvana. All Buddhas of the past, present, and future, rely on Prajñāpāramitā, and attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi (the unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment). Therefore, know that Prajñāpāramitā is the great transcendent mantra, the great radiant mantra, the supreme mantra, the incomparable mantra, which removes all suffering and is true, not false.
