Shot over two days, October 18–19, 2021, this project captures the rich colors of New England from both the road and the air. Everything was filmed in 8K HDR using GoPro Hero 10 and 9 Black cameras mounted outside the car, along with aerial footage from the Autel Evo II Pro 6K drone. The edit features a custom rock/folk soundtrack with electric guitar, drums, and lyric-inspired melodies, mixed with the natural sounds of the road — engine, wind, tires — to keep it grounded and immersive. The roads in this part of New Hampshire are something else in autumn. You get long, quiet stretches lined with dense forest, and every turn feels like a new postcard — bright red maples, golden birch, and deep orange oaks all packed together. Routes like the one through Waterville Valley or along the river near Campton aren’t just scenic — they’re immersive. The elevation shifts, the winding curves, the way the light cuts through the trees — it’s perfect for filming. In fall, even the smaller backroads feel cinematic without trying. The filming kicks off at 00:00:35 on Day 1. Around 00:10:17, we made a stop to launch the drone. At 00:10:59, we reach Waterville Valley, which we revisit the next day (00:16:52). Day 2 starts at 00:15:44, continuing through some incredible spots — Campton by the river at 00:19:18, Plymouth at 00:23:28, and wrapping at Everett Lake Dam around 00:28:55. This was a relaxed shoot — no rush, no script — just capturing the road and letting the landscape do the work. Hope you enjoy the ride!
