Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Crispy Potatoes (Serves 3–4) Ingredients: Potatoes: 1 ½ lb (680 g) baby potatoes, halved 2 tbsp olive oil ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp black pepper Steak Bites: 1 ¼ lb (570 g) sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak, cut into 1-inch cubes 1 tsp salt ½ tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder Garlic Butter: 4 tbsp unsalted butter 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional) Optional Finish Fresh parsley Red chili flakes Method: Crisp the potatoes Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add potatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside. Sear the steak Pat steak dry. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Increase heat to high, add steak to the same skillet in a single layer, and sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside. Make garlic butter Lower heat to medium. Add butter, garlic, and herbs. Cook 30–45 seconds until fragrant. Combine Return steak and potatoes to the pan. Toss to coat in garlic butter. Cook 1–2 minutes. Serve Garnish with parsley or chili flakes. Serve immediately.
