We empower #families to live as well as they can with #dementia, enhancing the support available in #GreaterManchester. We walk alongside families, offering communication courses, one to one dementia focused therapeutic support, a carers voice group and a bereavement group. #Prevention sits at the very core of this work, while we can do nothing to halt the progression of dementia, we can support caregivers to stay well within their caring role, enabling families to stay together at home for longer and reducing the risk of #carerbreakdown and the associated impact and costs for families affected by dementia.
