We used to do this hairstyle on Brooklyn & Bailey all the time when they were younger. Not sure why we stopped doing it, but I recently saw a picture of it in my old hairstyle photo album, so there you go! We sometimes call this the shoelace braid, since the concept of the braid is similar to the first step of tying a show. Only to make a braid, you simply add in hair to each side before tying your next knot. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. You can do this on any braid, or in a hairstyle combo.
