The KTM Freeride 250 R has all it needs to be considered a reliable, fast and capable off road motorcycle. It is packed with the best components available on today’s market and is propelled by a 249cc, 1-cylinder, 2-stroke engine with a displacement of 249cc. The unit is fueled by a 7 liter fuel tank and transfers its power to the rear wheel by means of a 6 gear, claw shifted transmission. The FREERIDE 250 R is equipped with Giant anodized aluminium rims which feature CNC machined hubs and aluminium spoke nipples. The rims are wrapped in Trial-Maxx tires that measure 2.75-21 at the front ant 4.00-18 at the rear. To be able to deal well with the requirements of off-road riding, the KTM Freeride 250 R needed a set of tough suspensions. Therefore, KTM’s engineers have equipped their motorcycle with beefy WP Suspension upside-down front forks with 43mm down tubes and a rear WP monoshock.
