Hey folks, in this video I am restoring an old kitchen cleaver. To remove rust, I used vinegar and a steel brush. Sanding sandpaper 80 grit, 100 grit, 220 grit. After sanding, the cleaver is coated with a steel bluing agent, I would like to remove all these irregularities from corrosion, make the cleaver shiny, but in some places these irregularities are too deep. For the handle, I used epoxy, bronze and beech wood. To prevent the rivet from being visible, the overlays and rivets are made of the same sheet of bronze. After making the handle, I sharpened the cleaver with sandpaper, part of the process remained behind the scenes, I did it without a power tool, it was a long time.The cutting edge is rounded, it is more resistant to impact than the straight one.
