This particular model, which retails for $949, includes a 2.2 ghz i5 processor, 8 gigs of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. The tablet mode feels clunky due to the machine’s weight of 3.5 pounds. The performance is excellent, both for general computing tasks as well as gaming. In fact I was surprised by how well the GPU was able to perform in both Minecraft and Counterstrike GO. Will it work well with the latest games? Probably not, but with reduced settings it’ll probably run most of what’s currently out there. It isn’t perfect though. The keyboard layout feels a bit odd and off-center due to the placement of keys that are placed to the right of the enter key. And for some reason it won’t recognize mouse movement when a key is held down while in a game. Overall? This is a surprisingly good performing laptop. Hopefully they can resolve some of the input issues moving forward.
