How to make Gonggi from Squid Game | DIY paper Gonggi

How to make Gonggi out of paper that is sturdy and heavy enough. You can really play with it! Well it is not my usual to post a project which involved cutting and gluing. Even though I'm really into it as well. I have tried to make several Gonggi using origami method. But I'm not quite happy about it. Despite how they're cute, easy to make and everything, but turns out, they're hollow and so light. They're hard to hold on my palm without worrying about crushing them, let alone to be tossed and grabbed. That makes them not so playable, I think. I mean I want to show you how to make something you can actually play with, without too many materials. Now that I can say I'm satisfied with the result. They're resembling to the original design, smooth and glossy, durable, and make a nice "clack clack" sound when they hit the table surface . So here's the material I used to make Paper Gonggi as seen on Squid Game season 2: 5 color papers. One for each Gonggi stone. 🔲 purple 🔺 yellow and green 🔘 red and blue Each one needs about 10*20 cm paper. Cut into strips: 3-4 strips of 15 mm, and 3 strips of 11 mm. *It doesn't have to be exact, I just find it fitting ^^, little piece of white paper for the markings. craft glue (PVA) Ruler and scissors wooden skewer ➡️ this one is very handy. *Also, you can add a piece of it (15 mm) as the core of the tube.
