5 flavour Coconut Modak For Paan Modak Clean paan: 2 Water: 1/4 cup Gulkand For Chocolate Modak Chocolate chip: 2 tbsp For Mawa Modak Mawa /Khoa: 2 tbsp For dry fruit Modak Cardamom powder: 1 tsp Crushed Dry fruits For Mango Modak Mango puree: 1/4 cup To make the Base of Coconut Ghee: 1 tbsp Milk: 1 cup Milk powder: 1 1/2 cup Sugar: 1/2 cup ( as taste ) Desiccated Coconut: 2 cup Step : 1. To make the base mixture we will add ghee in a pan (non-stick pan is good to use ) when the ghee is hot add Milk and mix it well 2. When the milk is hot, add milk powder and mix it well 3. Then add sugar and mix it well and add desiccated coconut and mix it well 4. Remove this mixture in a bowl as soon as it gets little thick. This is our Basic Mixture using this mixture we are going to make Flavors of modak Mango Modak 1. Add 1/2 cup mixture of Basic modak in a pan and add mango puree. Mix it well 2. Cook it on medium flame till the time the mixture becomes thick and start to release oil 3. Once it starts to release oil remove it in a plate to cool down 4. Wipe the nonstick pan using tissue paper for preparing another flavour Paan Modak 1. Add 1/2 cup mixture of Basic modak in a pan and add paan puree. Mix it well 2. Cook it on medium flame till the time the mixture becomes thick and start to release oil 3. Once it starts to release oil remove it in a plate to cool down 4. Wipe the nonstick pan using tissue paper for preparing another flavour Chocolate Modak 1. Add 1/2 cup mixture of Basic modak in a pan and add chocolate chips and mix it well 2. Cook it on medium flame till the time the mixture becomes thick and start to release oil 3. Once it starts to release oil remove it in a plate to cool down 4. Wipe the nonstick pan using tissue paper for preparing another flavour Mawa Modak 1. Add 1/2 cup mixture of Basic modak in a pan and add Mawa/khoa. Mix it well 2. Cook it on medium flame till the time the mixture becomes thick and start to release oil 3. Once it starts to release oil remove it in a plate to cool down 4. Wipe the nonstick pan using tissue paper for preparing another flavour Dry Fruit Modak 1. Add 1/2 cup mixture of Basic modak in a pan and add cardamom powder and dry fruit powder. Mix it well 2. Cook it on medium flame till the time the mixture becomes thick and start to release oil 3. Once it starts to release oil remove it in a plate to cool down 4. Wipe the nonstick pan using tissue paper for preparing another flavour For Making modak 1. When the all flavour cold, if the mixture is sticking to hand then put it in the fridge for minimum 1 hour 2. Then make all the modak using a modak Mould. 3. For making Paan modak take paan mixture to stuff it inside a mould and keep space at the centre for stuffing Gulkand 4. From Bottom of the Modak Mould stuff Gulkand inside it and close it using Paan Mixture and Your Paan - Gulkand Modak is ready In the same way, prepare all the Flavors of Modak .
