GIFF 2019 (Finalist)- Geocaching Horror Movie Trailer

After seeing last year's GIFF movies, I knew I had to participate for this year's GIFF. I had an idea for a trailer for a "horror movie" for a while and thought this might make for a good GIFF movie. My idea and plan was to show cut scenes (like what you would see in a movie trailer) of cachers lost in the woods while trying to find a cache. This is why this movie starts with the "green rating screen" and ends with the actual name of the movie: "Nano in the Woods" (parody name of the movie "Cabin in the Woods"). It's funny though, because this "trailer" actually tells the whole story of the movie. Maybe I should've just called it: "A Geocaching Horror Movie"... It was fun seeing this at the three GIFF events I went to. People laughed at the funny bits and clapped at the end. At my second GIFF, a lady gasped at the scene where I give The Kid the knife and at the scene where she is hiding behind the tree as the Masked Figure almost spots her. I hope it wasn't too scary for some people... I did leave out two scenes though... There was one scene where The Kid was backed up against a tree and she pulls out the knife. And then there was a shot as the camera pans around me as I take out my machete. Yeah, those made it a bit too scary and also added too much time to the 4 minute limit we had to work with. Now that I can post this, you all will have the chance to read the "green screen intro" that was cut to a second in the GIFF reel. I hope you all enjoy the movie we put together for you.
