FarmVR - Virtual Reality Farming Experiences for the Classroom

FarmVR is an educational learning platform designed to create those connections between the paddock and the plate; to educate about the realities of agriculture in Australia and around the world, and to give farmers an opportunity to share their story. We use virtual reality to inspire, educate, and engage our audience, providing immersive and engaging learning experiences. We also provide teachers with free resources to use in the classroom. We were honoured to deliver immersive technology workshops at the PIEFA Food, Fibre and Foliage Roadshow in 2019, designed to arm teachers with the skills and confidence to begin to integrate immersive tech into their traditional classroom learning. With experiences from canola harvesting to pig farming to the forestry industry, our virtual reality farming experiences aim to educate, engage and inspire our audience to consider careers and learn more about where their food and fibre comes from.
