Tying your headsection differently results in different actions of your Fly. Here I ll show you a simple reverse fly as first pattern. Which will glide calmly through the water depending on how you strip it of course. The second head is quite heavy and will jig mor up and down. you can increase that by tying in cones or beads just before tying in the nayat. The third head a jerk head. It is really thin in the beginning which makes it glide through the water. By a more bulky body behind it gets catched by the water pressure mooving the Fly to the side. As thinner you hook is as thinner you can tie the head. However, remember that u need weight to keep the momentum up. Using really thin wired hook do well with some lead on the shank. The last Head is a stacked head which can push a lot of water and especialy in murky conditions can make the difference. I ran out of material for the Fly here thats why the Tail is a bit short. But as that episode deals about head design I hope you can look over that.
