Jesse, who was born blind and adopted from Korea at age 2, tries Mom's broccoli cheddar soup recipe sent in from one of our subscribers, B Fuji. We had some success with Jesse eating broccoli cheddar soup at Pizzeria Uno a week or so ago. Here's the link to that video: • Jesse Sees The Doctor And Eats Broccoli Ch... We pinned the recipe from B Fuji in the first comment on that video. Jesse is intellectually disabled, non-verbal, and also autistic, so she is reluctant to eat anything that isn't exactly the right flavor, texture, smell, temperature, etc, due to sensory issues. In other words, she rarely eats anything other than mountains of Cheerios and her nutritionist-prescribed nutrition supplement drink. So today, mom is trying out the recipe on Jesse to see if she'll eat it at home. Well, you'll have to watch to find out the results! She's also just starting to use her white cane for orientation and mobility, thanks to music therapy.
