Details: G12M Greenback (25W) Cannabis Rex (50W) G12H30 70th Anniversary (30W) Electro Voice Force 12 (150W) Private Jack (50W) Legend V128 (120W) Red White & Blues (120W) The CAD Condenser mic is panned hard left, and the SM57 is panned hard right. Condenser pointed at the edge of the dustcap, and the SM57 pointed midway between the dustcap and the surround. The mics were adjusted so that the DAW wave form showed them exactly in phase. Driven tones, then Clean tones. Amp is a 50W 2x6L6GC RCA Black plates, with a preamp based on the Marshall Plexi Lead Channel, loaded with vintage Holland 12AX7 tubes. Greenback went first, and the amp levels were set as hot as possible for the 25W speaker, then the amp was not changed throughout the rest of the testing. The G12H30 hit the mic pre just a bit too hard, and I apologize for that - it was certainly the loudest speaker, but I didn't recognize the audio until after my test setup had been disassembled. All speakers were broken-in for at least 48 hours with 30~60Hz test tones. The guitar was looped with a Digitech Jamman Delay, then replayed for each speaker with no signal changes. The cabinet is semi-open back.
