Byllis: The Majestic Ancient City in Southern Albania Byllis was once a prominent ancient city and the chief settlement of the Illyrian tribe of the Bylliones. Located in southern Albania, the Byllis Archaeological Park stands as the largest ancient Illyrian city in the region, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into the past. Founded during the 4th and 5th centuries B.C., Byllis flourished as a thriving urban center.
