An unusual man enjoys finding unusual trash to create unusual stories. One day, he finds and saves from the garbage incinerator three discarded audio recorders an unknown woman had used to record events and people in her life. This is his latest unusual story. This movie was inspired by Joel Haver. I have been making a video a week for 17 years on my variety channel. Once in a great while I feel compelled to make a creative video or film instead of my typical DIY or Review video. Joel Haver has inspired me in the last few years to try more ambitious content and the few story videos or documentaries I have made have been fun at a very high level. I would also like to thank the amateur filmmaker community on YouTube for encouraging me by their example of making films even when almost nobody is watching, yet they continue. There is satisfaction in the art. Even for geezers like me. For the record. I do not know the last name of the person who recorded the audio files. Based on some of the information on the files I get the feeling she may not be alive as I do not know why a person living would discard some of the files. I tried to use her recordings in the most respectful and considerate manner and was inspired by everyone on the files. The employers seemed so caring and loving of their pets and seemed to have a wonderful long-term relationship with their employees which is rare and tells a lot about them. I was also so sympathetic to the woman who recorded after she revealed how she had lost two jobs from no fault of her own and was faced with earning only 10 bucks an hour after extra classes to prepare her for the job. Her husband's plight of 12-hour days as a cab driver for little money vividly revealed how so many people struggle to eke out a living. I admired her so much when she recorded a message and spoke the wrong date and then a few seconds later repeated the message with the correct date to correct her mistake. Who would know? She would. That is when I became a big fan of hers and really wanted good things to happen for her. I felt uncomfortable revealing the audio I found but after I was able to assemble a story which took a long time I think everyone involved would be happy with the end result and be glad I saved the voices and their stories from being burned and lost forever in the trash incinerator. I felt there had to be a reason for a person like myself who has been making videos about stuff found in the trash for the last 4 years to find three audio recorders that have a story on it. How could I not try to conjure up a story? It was hard to come up with a way to make viewers want to watch and listen to an audio recorder. I am happy with the result. If the person who recorded or was recorded is still alive and does not want me to post this film on YouTube I will respectfully comply immediately upon notification and verification. If you like the story check out my playlist and also other filmmakers on YouTube nearly all of which are ten times better than me.
