This audio is meant to comfort those of you who struggle with disordered eating. Whether it be because of body image issues, dysmorphia, and self-esteem, or OCD related causes such as fear of cross-contamination, getting sick, choking, swallowing etc. Honestly for any person who is or has struggled with one of the most fundamental needs of being a human. This issue sits very closely in my heart and my heart goes out to any of you who are trying your best to overcome disordered eating. Please know that you absolutely deserve to feel at home in your body, and to feel that that home is safe, healthy, secure, and energized. I know that this isn't an issue that can be fixed by a YouTube audio, and I sincerely hope that if any of you are at the point of needing professional help that you get it, but I do hope it can be a vehicle for you to try and feel supported while attempting to eat a meal. I won't get into it too much, but I know firsthand how scary and defeating disordered eating can be. The character I portrayed in this audio, although caring and nurturing, definitely does not sugar coat the reality of the listener's situation, which I know can be off-putting to some people, but when thinking back to my own experiences I definitely needed that mixture of authority and conviction along with the affection and care. Anyway, I hope this helps. As an additional note, I am tinkering with my audio editing "skills" so I do apologize if the quality of this is different or worse than the other one.
