I took a couple of days out to visit the island of Kerrera. A short ferry trip from very close to the town of Oban - Western Scotland. This anti-clockwise circuit of the island included monuments, eagles, sea life, friendly sheep and the very rare Kerrera Chestnut Haggis.... The trip highlight was the magical Gylen Castle situated high above the coastline in the Kerrera south. Two nights wild camping offered lots of time and opportunity to explore.
