(Please Read Details Below!) For my website, NaturalUranium.com, I have been collecting samples from around the USA and forming an isotopic map of the USA, slowly. My small laboratory is private and not an official "lab", so I cannot openly accept/solicit samples from people (you need a license to do so). Instead, I get my samples from friends and members of Radiation Network. I do all of the testing for free and "for entertainment purposes", though my results are quite real. In this video I show how I test a sample and analyze the results. The sample tested was sample Oregon-005, a sample from Portland Oregon. The Result was a thorium 232 hypothesis with progenic isotopes of thorium 232 in relative isotopic equilibrium, with respect to detector efficiency and gamma/x-ray intensity. Many people use isotope detection software, but I think that takes the fun out of it :) The unit used is a Spectrum Techniques LLC. UCS30 with a 38.1 mm NaI(Tl) gamma scintillation detector
