On October 30, 1975, teenager Martha Moxley was brutally murdered. In 2002, Michael Skakel was convicted of the crime and spent eleven years in prison. He was released in 2013 when courts ordered a new trial but in October of 2020, the State of Connecticut determined it would not retry Skakel due to the prosecution's belief they do not have sufficient evidence for a conviction.
