Last of the Wilds is originally by Nightwish and written by Tuomas Holopainen, originally performed by Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, Marco Hietala, Jukka Nevalainen and Troy Donockley. I had a lot of requests to make a piano version of Last of the Wilds after I posted my last video, Stargazers! Wow! It seemed to be the favourite so I asked my patrons to vote on it and it was a go-ahead! Dark Passion Play was actually the first Nightwish album I listened to. While it's not my favourite album, of course it's still very good and Last of the Wilds is a fantastic song. I think I prefer Erämaan Viimeinen, which is the same song but with vocals. Maybe Anette wasn't so great on Finnish language at the time!
