In a joint press conference at the Pentagon on Friday, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine gave updates on the operation going on in Iran. General Caine said that ’today will be our heaviest day of kinetic fires across the operating area’ and that the U.S. has attacked over 6,000 targets, with strike packages continuing to launch every hour. The FBI is investigating Thursday’s shooting at Old Dominion University in Virginia as an act of terrorism. Authorities say a gunman opened fire inside an ROTC classroom, killing one person and injuring two others. Records show the suspect previously served nearly seven years in prison for attempting to aid ISIS. The FBI is investigating a synagogue attack outside Detroit as targeted violence against the Jewish community. Authorities say a man drove a vehicle into the Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomfield Township in Michigan and opened fire on security.
