I recorded this video on 4th April 2023 between Brandýs and Ústí nad Orlicí. You can see there the work line PM 1000-URM is a device intended for the rehabilitation of the track bed with integrated ballast recycling and built-in high-pressure washing. Both or one of chains excavate a ballast to the revolving grid, from where that is moved through finger screen, impact crusher, vibrating and washing screen to the front of the work line. There are two options. Firstly, the mixed material, which is composed of the ballast bed residue and spoil from the third excavating chain, is transported to first two wagons. Secondly, the recycled ballast is translocated back over excavating machines to containers with new ballast, which are here shifted by two portal cranes. That mixture of the ballast is placed under tracks thanks to spiral conveyor, compactor intermediate layer, plate and flank compactor, packing device, ballast outlet hoppers and tamping unit.
