Join us for our father-daughter trek on Alta Via 1 (AV1) the famous through hike in the Italian Dolomites. Last year we hiked the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) together and loved it so much we wanted another European hiking challenge. We backpacked more than 75 miles in 8 days and 7 nights staying in mountain huts called Rifugios each night on the trail. The Dolomites are breathtaking mountains in Northern Italy and we got to experience them together during a glorious week in June. We started our hike at Lago di Braies where we stayed at the hotel on the lake the night before the trek. We ended at the La Pissa bus stop outside of Belluno, Italy.
