Marin Mountain Biking - Going Warp Speed at Mount Burdell in Novato !

Mount Burdell Open Space Preserve is located in Novato, Ca. It sits on the backside of Olompali State Historic Park, facing southwest. I came in search of The Eagle Rim Trail, which is a 1 mile long black diamond. It starts out fast and doesn't really let up, offering up technical rocky sections, hair pin turns and a lot of exposure. The Burdell Climb is also a worthy jaunt to the summit, it's steep in a few parts and also has some rocky sections ( think of the top part of Eldridge Grade) This place is definitely worth a visit if you've never been!
