The Schiltenhof is an organic farm and for me this farmer has the most beautiful cows here in the area. They still wear their horns with pride and you can see that they are allowed to live a happy life here. The cows are often in the barn during the winter. There is no grass growing and therefore they have to make do with the hay from last summer. However, these cows are allowed outside from time to time during the winter months. In spring, when the grass has grown again, it is time for the cows to go back to the pasture!
