On Saturday, April 12, 2025, the new Unit MX-5 of the Fünfte Deutsche Feuerwehrkompanie Talcahuano (Fifth Company of the Talcahuano Fire Department) arrived in the city of Talcahuano. This unit has an articulated boom with a maximum height of 34 meters and is also capable of handling uneven ground. This will allow it to perform fire, rescue, and any other type of service its capacity and characteristics allow. Civil and fire authorities from the region and the municipality of Talcahuano participated in this important activity, as well as all the Quintino firefighters, who were accompanied by all the fire department companies on the road and at the Plaza de Armas in the Port City. I want to thank the officers and firefighters of the Fünfte for their kindness and dedication.
