Putin: Let me remind you that it was the second quarter of last year that became the most difficult for our economy, for domestic business, when circumstances, the usual order of trade, settlements, logistics were rapidly changing, when in fact the entire fabric of business and economic life was being reshaped. Today, dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen, friends, we can confidently say that the strategy chosen then by both the state and business in Russia has worked. Positive macroeconomic trends are gaining momentum and strength. In April of this year, the gross domestic product grew by 3.3 percent in annual terms, and by the end of the year it will add more than a percent. So, in any case, the IMF believes – 0.7 percent. But, in my opinion, I agree with those of our experts who believe that the growth will still be more: somewhere up to one and a half, and maybe even two percent. This will allow our country to retain its place among the leading economies of the world.
