Goodbye Kohana

I don’t know what to say. I’m so shocked yet again..my heart goes out to the Loro Parque Pod, trainers and all who loved her. Thought Kohana wasn’t one of my ‘Top Favorites’ but she was still special to me as she was one of the few orcas I’ve gotten to seen. She was one of the first orcas I ever saw back in 2019, after Skyla. I’m so great full to have gotten the opportunity to see her 3 times, once in June of 2019 and twice in November of last year. I truly did not think that would be the last time I ever saw her. Back in February She was preforming in the show with Tekoa and was paired sometimes with Tekoa and Adán. I was so excited to see that paring In person :( It doesn’t seem right to have 4 orcas at Loro Parque. 1 female and 3 males. This time two years ago it was 7. 4 females and 3 males. It won’t ever seem right I suppose. Goodbye Kohana, you will be missed dearly For Kate.
