Twin plates are rated for more power and are able to handle more torque over a stock clutch but why? Nathan takes apart the new ORC 659 Racing concept twin plate clutch going into our FD Rx7 and explains. I never really intended to post too much of my own personal build on this channel since most of the build was done prior to when we started this channel. Not the average YouTube build on the internet. However, I really enjoyed listening to Nathan explain the information behind the new Ogura Racing Clutch for the Rx7 and hope you guys will too! Nathan has been the sole person I trust to work on my FD for a while now. He has a wealth of information from years of experience as a chief mechanic and I am fortunate to be able to learn something new every time we find ourselves chatting about cars.
