43- Butterflies & Bubblegum Reimagined Dot Art Mandala Tutorial | 14" Wall Art | Tool Sizes Used

This piece is a custom piece that involved incorporating elements of two different pieces into one 14 inch dot art mandala. Follow along with this video to learn the dot art mandala style of painting including the colour palette, the size of dotting tools used for each element and tips and tricks. In this video you will also learn valuable planning strategies. To be honest, most of my dot art mandala paintings are not planned out and just flow through me during the process. There is a beauty in that and a sense of calm throughout the process. This was a welcomed challenge, however. Because i had already created tutorials for the two pieces being referenced in the reimagining of Butterflies & Bubblegum, I was able to follow my own tutorials for some of this project. The hope was to use the colour palette from the Westben stool and its centre design, but to incorporate butterflies, bubblegum and mirrors from the Butterflies & Bubblegum pieces, as well as creating it on a 14" MDF board. It took a little more planning than I typically do, but it was well worth it! I hope you enjoy this video and find the planning elements helpful on your dotting journey.
