In the final episode of our Lisbon travel vlog series, we spend the day exploring some of the best food in Lisbon while learning about Portugal’s lesser-known fortified wine: Madeira. We start the morning with a classic bifana sandwich at As Bifanas do Afonso, one of the city’s most popular spots for this traditional Portuguese sandwich. Next we go on a pastel de nata run with stops at Zara by Castro and later Nat'elier, two bakeries known for their delicious Portuguese custard tarts. For lunch we visit Uma Marisqueira, a beloved seafood restaurant famous for its rich seafood rice (arroz de marisco). To end our Lisbon trip, we finally find the historic Garrafeira Nacional, where the staff kindly walked us through the differences between Port wine and Madeira wine, two of Portugal’s most iconic fortified wines. This episode is perfect if you’re interested in: • Lisbon food spots and local restaurants • Where to eat bifanas in Lisbon • Best pastel de nata in Lisbon • Port wine vs Madeira wine explained • Wine tasting in Lisbon If you enjoy travel, food, and wine, this was the perfect way for us to end our Lisbon adventure.
