MEXICO - SINALOA 11/5/24 This is old school Mexican brick weed - only not bricked, & not smuggled across the border inside tires... Turns out the old school Mexican strains are some of the most beautiful, psychedelic, & flavorful cannabis varieties on the planet... the antithesis of modern California polyhybrid industrial hype that has taken over the scene. If you like feeling happy, giggly, & also enjoy going on psychedelic mind journeys while getting lost in your favorite music, or even tripping out & creating your own music or favorite type of creative expression... old school Mexican cannabis may the variety for you :) Someone commented on how these would be a nightmare to trim... but the reality is, you don't trim these buds. You just dry them, then flick the tiny little leaves off with your fingers when ready to smoke. Some cannabis varieties are not meant to be trimmed into round little uniform chicken nuggets & machine dumped into mylar bags. RANT: There was a time when the cannabis scene was a space for independent thinkers & non-conformists who resisted the mainstream, & celebrated diversity & curiosity in the unknown. The cannabis scene was synonymous with the counterculture. Unfortunately, today, most cultivators & cannabis brands appear to be chasing hype, conformity, yield, & market trends - pursuing sameness, instead of uniqueness... trying to fit in with the industry crowd instead of carving out a specific niche. So the whole scene is now a giant mylar bag full of lost souls desperately trying to conform & please their Chad investors rather than pursue any artistic vision or expression... cannabis is now a commodity, not a spirit plant. The farmer is a row cropping, yield chasing, slave to the market, not a artisan craftsperson. Every farmer I hear from is not doing well financially due to the flooded market of the exact same hype industrial strains.... & their only plan for the future to possibly turn a profit is to try to grow MORE, GO BIGGER, thus creating more surpluses. And BTW - crossing runtz to gelato is not innovation. END RANT Sorry - from a punk rock, metal head, hippie, cannabis farmer in the Santa Cruz Mountains - peace
