Welcome to Talking With Myself! I’m your host, Megan, and I’m so glad you’re here for the first official episode! In this episode, “The Pages I Return To,” I’m talking about something I’ve come to genuinely love: journaling. Over the past year, my journal has become my go-to space for creativity and reflection, a place to escape the pull of screens and distraction. And I think in 2026, a lot of us are craving that kind of slowness. I break down the different ways you can fill a journal—because it’s not just about the notebook itself. I share my personal experience, and I also touch on the psychology behind why journaling works. So, if you've ever thought about starting a journal but didn't know how, or you're looking for new ways to connect with yourself, get comfy and listen in. Here is a short list of journal prompts to give a try: 1.) What was I grateful for today or the past few days? 2.) What was the highlight of my day, something that made me happy? 3.) What have my thought patterns leaned towards lately? 4.) Is there anything I have been worrying about that maybe doesn’t require such emotional energy? 5.) What has changed or what have I begun to notice in my life that is giving me motivation to improve or refocus my attention on? 6.) What am I currently surrounded by (place, sounds, smells)? 7.) If I wasn’t afraid, what is something I would try? Where else you can find me: Spotify: Talking With Myself Instagram: @twm_withmeg
