The Pet Shop concept, where good breed puppies are being sold, is nothing but a crime against animals. The parent animals are being caged, forcefully bred, and subject to much cruelty, all in the name of profit. Most times we see these animals being kept under inhumane circumstances, in tiny cages, with sparsely enough room to turn around. They are sad and depressed, and more often than not, once they stop being profitable to the breeder, these animals are thrown out and abandoned on the roadside, because the breeder does not want to bear the cost of feeding and taking care of them. Animals do not belong to us for us to take advantage of them in this manner, and treat them with such cruelty. They are a gift, given to us to nurture and live in harmony with. You can stop this cruelty from continuing, by choosing to adopt rather than shop. When people stop buying from these Pet Shops the breeders will be compelled to stop this cruel game, and it is only then that these poor animals will be able to know true freedom and peace.
