#ThrowbackThursday Some more late '90s goodness! An aircheck of MTV Australia dating back to mid-1998, with the late-John "Ratso" Kennedy at the Sydney "Sexpo" Convention. As a result, there's some sexually suggestive content and innuendo in this recording which wouldn't make it onto television screens now in 2022! The thing which I find most amusing about this song countdown is the fact that all these songs are still staples on Triple M to this very day, 24 years later. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I've heard "Bitter Sweet Symphony", "About a Girl" and "Remedy" played on the station over the years! It just goes to prove that many Gen X'ers never lost their love of '90s alt-rock. :P Recorded off MTV Australia sometime back in mid-1998.
