I took a train from Munich to Freilassing with Bayern ticket and then Sbahn to Salzburg. you can also take a day ticket for Salzburg which costs you 27euros and it includes city bus free ride, visit to most of the places free and to some places 20% discount. I travelled the whole city on foot and it was an amazing experience. I met some people from India and tagged along them. also the same day there was a huge protest for Covid Vaccination. We visited Hohensalzburg castle, City Cathedral, Mirabell garden and palace and a church just opposite to that. We also walked on the bridge which had several locks tied and it looked beautiful.
