🎄Hello 🎄and thank you for joining in on my little garden story, I am decorating my porch with items I collected from my garden. Also have you ever heard of barge board? That is the decorative element I put around my porch. I sourced it from Terrain. Have you ever made cinnamon buns with potatoes? I made mine with the Yukon Gold potatoes I grew. Please join my Christmas Tea as I invite my niece Jenny to come over with her girls. I hope you get a chance to make the buns for your Christmas table. They are an old fashioned delicious treat. Thank you so much for stopping by today and spending some time with me. I truly am so grateful for you time, your comments and your likes. 🎄GWEN'S FAVORITE THINGS🎄 Felco No 2 Classic Hand Pruner https://amzn.to/48sVZLq RADA Paring Knife https://amzn.to/3ScwEzJ RADA Knife Sharpener https://amzn.to/3RVxEqL Harney and Sons White Christmas Tea https://amzn.to/3TMVqb0 🎄IN THE KITCHEN🎄 Cinnamon Buns DOUGH 1 cup lukewarm milk 110" degrees 2 teaspoons active dry yeast 2/3 cup mashed potatoes 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 6 tablespoons melted butter 1 egg 3 1/2 cup flour plus more for dusting 1/4 cup milk 1 Tablespoon maple syrup FILLING 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup almond meal 2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup soft butter ICING 1 cup powdered sugar 3 tablespoon melted butter 1 tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon vanilla -Place warm milk in mixing bowl and add yeast and stir.
