River Fishing Trip: Campfire Nights, Delicious Food, Guitar & Sauna

This time, it was just the three of us — Sanya, Kostya, and Dima. Sanya and Dima were after trout, grayling, and maybe even a sea trout, while Kostya dreamed of roaming the forest in search of autumn mushrooms and cooking something delicious over the fire. A remote forest river became our basecamp and made all our wishes come true — the guys landed plenty of wild brook trout, and our young mycologist Kostya filled his basket with fresh chanterelles. In the evening: a steamy forest sauna with fragrant birch twigs, a mouthwatering dinner featuring pasta with wild mushrooms and pumpkin, guitar songs by the fire, and a late-night card marathon. The weekend flew by like a dream — wild trout fishing, cozy autumn weather, warm nights in a winter tent with a diesel stove, tasty open-fire meals, and the best company you could ask for.
