These houses were purchased by poor residents of Delhi from local dealers through GPA and with all necessary legal documents. The poor residents of Anandpur Dham, Karala, state that in 2015, the Delhi High Court had imposed a ban on any action against the land here. However, after a change in government in Delhi, these people have been continuously harassed and are now being asked to vacate their homes, which have been marked with yellow paint for demolition. A few days ago, a large number of police forces and CRPF personnel entered the area. Local residents mentioned that these houses, which are approximately 20–25 years old, have proper electricity meters installed since 2009. Voter ID cards and Aadhaar cards of the residents are registered at this address. The area has all basic facilities, including electric poles, yet attempts are being made to uproot these poor people from their homes. The residents allege that some local influential individuals, in collaboration with the police and DSIIDC (Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd), are trying to forcibly evict them. Shockingly, when the CRPF entered the area with the police, they did not have any official demolition orders. Despite this, they threatened the residents and marked many houses in yellow for demolition. Most of the women living in this area earn a livelihood by doing small jobs. With great difficulty, they managed to buy 25-yard to 50-yard houses and build them over time. However, now they are facing the threat of losing their homes due to unjust actions. The BJP-led government, which claims to uphold the slogan "Where there is a slum, there is a home," is contradicting itself by making all preparations to displace these poor people, who legally purchased and built their houses. The local women are angry and claim that atrocities against the poor have started soon after the BJP government came into power. राजधानी दिल्ली के कराला इलाके में स्थित आनंदपुर धाम, भगत सिंह रोड पर बने तकरीबन 20 से 25 साल पुराने मकान जिन्हें लोकल डीलरों से दिल्ली की गरीब जनता ने खरीदा था. और जी पी ए, के साथ-साथ सभी तरह के लीगल डॉक्यूमेंट के साथ खरीदा था. अब उन्हें मकान को तोड़ने के लिए DSIIDC द्वारा गरीब जनता पर दबाव बनाया जा रहा है. आनंदपुर धाम, कराला के इन गरीब लोगों का कहना है की साल 2015 में दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने, यहां की जमीन पर कार्रवाई करने पर रोक लगा दी थी, लेकिन दिल्ली में जैसे ही सत्ता परिवर्तन हुआ. इन लोगों को लगातार परेशान किया जा रहा है. और पीले रंग की मार्किंग करके मकान को तोड़ने का कहा जा रहा है. कुछ दिन पहले भारी मात्रा में पुलिस बल और सीआरपीएफ के जवान इलाके में आए थे, और बिना कोई लीगल नोटिस दिए इन मकानों को तोड़ने की बात कह रहे हैं. स्थानीय निवासियों ने बताया कि यहां पर तकरीबन 20-20 साल पुराने मकान बने हुए हैं साल 2009 के पक्के मीटर लगे हुए हैं. यहां लोगों के वोटर आईडी कार्ड आधार कार्ड इसी एड्रेस के बने हुए हैं. तमाम सुविधाएं मिली हुई है. बिजली के खंबे लगे हुए हैं लेकिन बावजूद इसके इन गरीब लोगों को आशियाना उजड़ने की कोशिश की जा रही है. यहां की जनता का आरोप है की कुछ स्थानीय बाहुबली पुलिस और DSIIDC के साथ मिलकर इन लोगों को जबरन उनके घर से निकलने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. हैरानी की बात यह है कि जिस वक्त सीआरपीएफ पुलिस के साथ इस इलाके में दाखिल हुई उनके पास तोड़फोड़ का कोई भी आदेश नहीं था बावजूद इसके कई घरों के ऊपर पीला निशाना बनाकर घर तोड़ने की धमकी देकर यह लोग वहां से चले गए. इस इलाके में रहने वाली ज्यादातर महिलाएं छोटा-मोटा काम करके अपनी जिंदगी गुजरती हैं और उन्होंने बड़ी मुश्किल से 25 गज 50 गज के मकान पहले खरीदे और उन्हें बड़ी मुश्किल से बनाया लेकिन अब उनके साथ बहुत ज्यादा अन्याय करने की तैयारी की जा रही है. जहां दिल्ली की भाजपा सरकार जो की डबल इंजन की सरकार है उसका दवा है जहां झुग्गी वही मकान, लेकिन दूसरी तरफ जो लोग पैसे खर्च करके मकान खरीद कर बनाकर उनमें रह रहे हैं. उन गरीब लोगों का आशियाना उजड़ने की पूरी तैयारी कर ली गई है. स्थानीय महिलाएं गुस्से में है और यह कह रही है कि भाजपा सरकार आते ही गरीबों पर अत्याचार शुरू हो गया है.
