Read Mat.26:6-13 The Tears of Repentance (А слёзы текут ручьём) The Lord had walked a distant way, To reach a home inside the city. The dusty roads had made him weary, And there he rested quietly. Then suddenly a woman came Into the room, with tears of sorrow. In trembling hands she held a bottle, And she knelt down before the Lord. She knew her sins were very heavy And there she could not say a word. Refrain verses 1&2: The tears of repentance flowed from her eyes, She kissed His feet and could not arise. She had many sins, and the world condemned her, And they thought that God would condemn her also. But the Savior said, "All your sins are pardoned. Go in peace, because your faith has saved you." And then in sight of many eyes, The woman wept in deep contrition, Her tears fell on the feet of Jesus, And with her hair she wiped them off. She broke the bottle that was filled With precious fragrance worth a fortune. Upon His weary feet she poured it, Above the voices murmuring. She had done all she could for Jesus, He soon would face great suffering. My weary friend, do not delay To heed the Savior's call of mercy. Remember you too are a sinner, And only Christ can set you free. Although the world around may scoff And all your friends may turn against you, Remind them that the Savior loves them, And He is merciful and kind. Whoever places their faith in Jesus, Great joy in Heaven they shall find. Refrain verse 3: Let tears of repentance flow from your eyes, There still is hope for you to arise. Confess all your sins to your faithful Father, He will cleanse your heart, and forsake you never. God is love divine, and He loves you greatly.
