Jim Beam Double Oak is the slightly more upmarket version of the standard Jim Beam White Label. Its the same mash bill. The double oak refers to the fact that the whisky is initially aged in a new charred american oak barrel, then it is transferred into another new charred American oak barrel. This seems like an awful lot of fuss and effort to me, but the result is a lot more palatable than the White Label and it is not much more expensive. Winner!
